The weather has finally allowed us to finish our bottom paint. We were put in the sling this afternoon around 16:00. Tomorrow morning at 07:30 we'll be launched from Stingray Point Boat Works. We've bought enough food, booze and water to last a month and a half ( Elaine thinks it may see us through 10 days). We've said our goodbyes to the folks around Deltaville who have been so nice to us. The dinghy is back in place in the davits aft. I still have to disconnect water hoses and shore power in the morning. We'll head a few hours South back to Put In Creek off the East River and Mobjack Bay. The ICW is still in rough shape so we won't rush heading further South. I think we'll aim for somewhere around the 20th of this month weather permitting. This years trip will have to be a cautious one, very much like our first year when we were rookies. Many of our favorite stops may not be available to us this year. We'll have to wait and see. At least we will finally be back on the water.
