We have had two fantastic days of travel. First, 43 miles from Calabash to Cow House Creek. Next, 68.7 miles from Cow House to Whiteside Creek. It is rare that the tides help us so much two days in a row!
One interesting side note- we are not alone. We anchored with 3 other trawlers in Cow House Creek and 19 other boats in Whiteside Creek. Elaine and I had thought we would be the last boat heading South, but we were really, really wrong. This is our 5th round trip down the Atlantic Coast and we have never seen this many boats at an anchorage anytime before.
