I had to take 4 separate photos to get them all, and you still don't see the boats moored around the South corner of the bay. This is looking Northwest.

The Throgs Neck Bridge. The last bridge out to the Sound from the big Apple.

This is the first of the bridges we went under to get to Long Island Sound. The Whitestone bridge. The traffic on the bridge was at a near stand-still, but the jets heading into La Guardia just kept coming.
