Friends in Annapolis

We've really had the opportunity to catch up with several of our cruising friends while here in Annapolis. Joe & Michele on S/V Simple Life were here for several days so we were able to get together for drinks, munchies and story swapping a number of times.
Yesterday, we got together with Peggy & David who sail S/V Wanderin' Star. David's Mom & Dad (Carol & John) have a lovely condo looking over Spa Creek. They had all us kids over for lunch, which was really nice. Peggy took the photo above from their balcony. (Elle & I is located between the two masts.) We spent a wonderful afternoon with all of them.
We've also run into Anne & Dick on S/V Nati. They weathered Hurricane Sandy anchored near us on Slade Creek a couple of years back. Bill who single-hands S/V Providence just anchored next to us about an hour ago. He just got back from the local SSCA Gam on the Rhode River. Donna & Craig on M/V Mighty Fine and Maureen & Bill on M/V Sweet Freedom are due to arrive here in a few hours.
Yep, that's how things go in Annapolis. We really like it.
Fair winds & Smooth sailing,
Elaine & Lawrence
