Christmas Preparations
16 December 2014 | Titusville, FL
Sunny, 76
This was a day to not only ready for Christmas, to start getting Elle & I ready to depart Titusville, but also to celebrate our Grandson's 11th Birthday. The morning began with a 08:00 hr. call to wish Justin a very Happy Birthday. He informed us he was delaying his Birthday dinner until tomorrow night when we will be all together - as always, he is so sweet and thoughtful! Can't wait to see what he has selected for his Birthday Dinner. L. picked up the rental car at 8:00 a.m. and we were off and running. First, to fill Propane tank, then on to Lowe's for an insulating blanket for the freezer, Walmart for some basic staples, Liquor store for supplies to last at least to Marco, and then on to a print shop to have new boat cards printed upon our return here, and all prescriptions filled at Walgreen's. Then the ungodly task of hauling stuff back to the boat and packing away. Put water repellent on the dodger and cleaned and polished some more vinyl inside and out. I put our luggage in the car and we had dinner aboard, Chicken Cheese Ravioli and some garlic cheese bread from the local Bread Bakery. We'll be departing Elle and I at 07:00 hours to drive to Orlando getting there in ample time to board our flight at 9:50 a.m. We are so excited it is difficult to sleep and we are so looking forward to spending time with Jordan, Andrea, Justin and Marisa, as well as visiting Susan at home, Galo, Leticia, Sofia and Vanessa on Sunday,Liz on Saturday, Jessica and Peter from Hop-O-Nose on Sunday, and all our Williams friends on Thursday. All of this has been made a reality because Jordan and Andrea have been so generous and such wonderful supporters for the past 2.5 years. We are very grateful and feel truly blessed. We wish all our family, friends, and especially cruising friends a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!
