Bull River ICW MM 522

We left St. Johns Yacht Harbor on the Stono River shortly before 08:00. For the most part, tidal push seemed to help us out and we arrived at Bull River just about 15:30. To our pleasant surprise, Susan and Dean on S/V Autumn Borne were right behind us. They had left Charleston Harbor an hour behind us. We had a great "Happy Hour" on Autumn Borne catching up on each other's news and stories. Dean and Susan had some amazing travel stories from this year's Southerly migration. We sure are glad they got through them without too much mishap.
Tomorrow it's on to either Bull Creek or New River just North of Savannah, GA. We need to get to a more protected anchorage by Sunday afternoon because of strong winds and possible rain coming in that day.
