Our Neighbor at Sunrise Bay

Under "It's a Small World", our nearest neighbor is from Mallet's Bay on Lake Champlain in Vermont. In fact, Betty and Ernie on S/V Iemanja own Cloth-N-Canvas and did our dodger, bimini and storm curtain many years ago. They joined us for happy hour and have even toted us over to the Coral Reef Yacht Club's dinghy dock so I could get to Publix.
Last night, Ernie alertly noted that another sailboat was trying to anchor far to close to us with far to little scope. He called to let us know, so I could go out and ask the sailboat to move farther away. The boat moved away, but then dragged back down toward us. I used an air horn to get their attention. They had to re-anchor a third time. While all this was happening, a mega yacht came in and anchored in front of the dragging sailboat. It was windy, so our photo of the yacht is a little fuzzy, but you can still get the idea of the size of M/V Elizabeth.
Fair winds & Smooth sailing,
