EMMA was in Hawaii and then the northeast U.S. with previous owners Lt. Commander David Davis, U.S.N. and Mary Jo Valdes. EMMA was named after Mary Jo's grandmother in honor of her lively spirit.

Tom & Annie found EMMA on the hard in a boatyard in Newport, RI. We were on a journey to find a sailing vessel and there she was, the first of nine boats we saw, and we knew she was the one.

The completed set of custom canvas for EMMA will include portlight awnings, winch covers, fender skirts, weather cloths, harbor awning, cockpit cushions, settee & master berth cushions, dodger, canvas pockets, ditty bags, and umm.... other stuff.
