Shirl/hot
I am in the same marina, Coco Plum Yacht Club, Marathon, Fl. Life is good but progress on the boat is slow. In fact the life in the tropical heat is slow and physical work is limited to early morning or the time just before sun down.

If outside work gets extended too late into the evening you feel like you may be carried away by the no "see ems" and the mosquitoes. The heat is unlike anything I have experienced in Michigan. It only takes a few minutes of physical work before you are covered with sweat. I get so wet I cannot see out of my glasses. It drips down my forehead into my glasses and I end cleaning my eye glasses with my shirt that is already soaked through. Thus the glasses just get smudged and I can see less. Ahh yes, life in the tropics. I am ok with it because this is our winter time when physical activities are limited. This is our inside time. Soon it will cool and our fall weather will be wonderful and last into the winter. The seasons are just reversed here. Only we have a longer time to use the water.

I did get to go fishing Sunday and had a great day in paradise. It was a rare temperate day. I swam in a blue hole that was deep and clear, like a swimming pool in the middle of a sand bar .

I did catch four fish.... enough for me. They were large by my standards... by first group of salt water fish.
