Fourth of July

04 July 2009 | 70 miles out in Atlantic
Shirl/comfortable temps
There were no fire works and we were glad. No need for lightening out in the ocean...when you are the tallest metal tree in the area.

The evening was quiet and peaceful. The beautiful sun set was followed by a full moon. Unless you have experienced a sun set at sea... I can only say... there is nothing like a beautiful 180 degree view of the sky when the sun sets over the water. The sky was all colors of pink, blue, purple and every pattern that nature can produce.

Mother nature added an extra special effect. We sailed through green algie that glowed in the dark as we left a wake.
