Another front with unsettled weather and SE winds of 20-25 knots, so going south we were straight into it. Again we werer most thankful for stabilizers and redundant systems. We anchored for lunch off Newcastle Island in Nanaimo. At the appropriate time we shot through Dodd Narrows and came on down the inside to Preedy Harbor. The ferry wake made the anchorage bouncy, so if there is ever a next time, we will choose accordingly.
We had stayed here years ago and had taken the ferry over to Chemainus to look at all the murals, but this time we stayed aboard and relaxed after the trip from Comox.
