The summer at home in Santa Barbara has gone quickly. We haven't been back in Southern California at this time of year for a long time...it sure is dry!
We are preparing for our France trip; there are many details still to arrange. Eos remains on the market, but we are hopeful the upcoming Annapolis and Ft. Lauderdale shows will result in some offers. If nothing develops, we have decided to move Eos back to the Pacific Northwest either in late November or in February, since Seven Star Transport has sailings from West Palm Beach at both times.
We have visited Tyler, Juliette and Kathy several times over the summer, and continue to be impressed by how rapidly grandchildren change. Tyler is starting third grade, and Juliette is a star on her "tooter", the scooter that we got for her birthday in March.
We will return to Bodkin Creek in early October to get Eos out of the storage shed and back in the water. Preparations for the 1000 mile trip to south Florida will keep us busy, but hopefully we will also have the opportunity to show the boat. If there is no interest, I will return at the end of October to move the boat to Florida.
