It's been awhile
22 September 2015 | Nanny Cay, BVI
Barbara/HOT!!
It appears Kevin made the last entry here some days ago; I've been a little lax!! We've been on the move for the most part, but behind the scene, working towards getting the bottom paint issue taken care of. After dropping Gracie at the vet last Saturday, we headed to Nanny Cay Marina in the BVI to begin the paint process. G's papers aren't in order to enter British waters so that's why she isn't with us!
So here we are as the guys begin work in the boat, a process that will take all week. We got a room at the Marina hotel that, thank the heavens above, has wonderful air conditioning. The weather has turned extremely, extremely hot and often with very little wind, it has brought the mosquitos out and they have latched into me. I've had to rely on sprays, Benadryl, and itch creams for relief. I've begun to feel like a real wimp, but this heat is relentless. Kev manages nicely, of course. He rarely complains period. I do know I am ready for some good breezes to find us once again. Once we can get the paint job completed and the front vent windows put in - which might not be til next week - maybe then we'll just tool around wherever the breeze takes us! Hope all that read are well.
Signing off with love.
