| The Crew: | We have been married over 40 years and have four grown kids. At present counting we have two grandkids, AND DEPENDING ON WHEN YOU READ THIS, we may have FOUR, 'cause twins are coming some time before the middle of August. NEWS FLASH - - WE NOW HAVE FOUR. (Please check the photo gallery for shots)(and four 'grand-chickens'). Carole has stuck with me through over 4 RVs and more than a dozen different boats, so far. To start with, we moved onto the boat September 1st, 2006, after we sold our home in Sacramento. We had expected to move onto the boat by June or July to sail the Bay and Delta areas for a couple months before heading down the coast, but so much for plans. We are currently just back from cruising in Mexico for the '07-'08 season. Our plans are "cast in the sand at low tide" following this season, but now that we have brought ESPIRITU back up the coast to The Bay, she is for sale and we are looking for the next adventure. We expect to be spending time visiting friends in our "new to us" RV and spending more time in Portland, but my retirement has not lasted as long as expected. I'll be working with "BOAT GUYS", a marine service company, as the customer service and marketing director. How 'bout this, I get paid to mess around with boats! We now are living on PEREGRINE about half-time, the motor home about half-time, and visiting family and friends about half-time. In between, we are doing the '08 Ha Ha with friends on their Lagoon 41. We think we'll go as far as Puerto Vallartta before we head back north some time around the middle of November. Carole wants to spend her birthday in La Cruz before we come back. Then we'll spend about half-time having fun with everybody before we head back to Mexico in Jan or Feb. Oh yeh, I'm also spending about half-time working with BOATGUYS. | ||

Those of you who know us, and our 'technological" skill level - or lack of it, will laugh at our re-creation of last years voyage down the coast from San Francisco as far as Zihuatanejo and back up into the Sea of Cortes to San Carlos, remembering our excusses at not getting e-mails out, or a blog up and running. To our new friends whoever and wherever you are, thanks for checking in, and enjoy our trip. When you get a chance send an e-mail and tell us where you have decided to take-off for.We have been sailing & boating for many years. We enjoy seeing little out-of-the-way places, good food & wine, hiking, camping, traveling the country in an RV. As of the end of July '08 we will be living part time in our RV assisting with 'twins-duty' and part time on some boat some where. Twins-duty is over and we are off and running. Check back from time to time for more updates. |
