HI ALL:
Looks like the last of the exterior upgrades & painting are just being completed on Peregrine, so next week I'll head down to check it and make sure its FINALLY all done. Next weekend Carole I take off for a 'road-trip' up to Oregon, Washington & Idaho for her re-union of the CLASS OF 1964 AT GONZAGA IN FLORANCE and see other friends in the area. We hope to start it off with some wine tasting up on the Russian River, and have a fun trip for a couple of weeks.
Let's see, we just sold the motor home, we are figuring that this winters trip to MEXICO will be by VOLKSWAGON BUS!! We are returning to our HIPPIE roots. If anybody has a big old wine jug, I think I need one to hang a candle in it for our light & heat.
We are getting set for the MCINTOSH CHRISTMAS party to be at our house this year, since we have a house again.
More later,
Pat

HI to everybody, it has been a l o n g time and again, we are sorry to not be better at keeping up the blog!
PEREGRINE is officially now on the market! This is a shot from our trip up the delta in July.
We have heard from a few people regarding boats in Mexico for the hurricane(s). So far the worst has been one of the boats on the hard at San Carlos getting full of rain water, but nothing too bad.
We have just gotten home from a couple weeks up in Portland (well OK, Beaverton). We were 'on duty' for a week of that time taking care of the TWINS that are now at the ripe old age of 13 months. A few more late mornings of sleep and we should be caught-up! GOD WAS VERY WISE WHEN HE DECIDED TO GIVE KIDS TO THE YOUNG! It was a blast, and good for them as well as us, I guess. Mo and Doug went to Spain for his brother's wedding, and from all accounts it was a fantastic trip. Mo has followed in her parents footsteps, so we hear, because in the 'dead of morning' she is said to have commandeered a boat to facilitate a return crossing to the Spanish mainland, some 100 or so yards away, so that several party-goers (including her in-laws) could get home before the sun was 'real bright'. Everybody made it without getting wet or sober, so all was well!
We have continued to move in to the house in Carmichael, but the boxes in the garage are fighting us. At this point we figure that if we didn't need 'it' on the boat for a couple years, or for the year that we've been back, 'it' can just stay in the box!
All is well with us. We have seen Terry and Patty from MISTIQUE on their way north to Washington, and had a great visit with Doug & Marcy from CHARM while we were up in Portland. It was a fun lunch while we talked about theirs & ours TWIN GRANDKIDS.
More later, I promise.

We found a spot in the Delta that really reminded us of one of our favorite spots in Mexico * * * THE OLD MARINA IN SANTA ROSALIA! The spot is the VENICE ISLAND YACHT CLUB, just south of Mandeville Cut, on the east side of the Stockton Deep Water Channel. This little spot was the find of the cruise! It's small, charming, funky, & fun -especially when you are there with several other boats from the DOO DAH.
The Delta trip was great, and the boat is pretty well cleaned up. So now we are getting ready for the next thing . . . whatever that is! This weekend Alan & I are doing a seminar for West Marine in Oakland, . well OK, Alan is doing it and I'll be there to learn something!
This photo is us taking off for Mexico, but it is here to say HI EVERYBODY - - HAPPY 43RD WEDDING ANNIVERSARY - KEEP ON HAVING FUN AND LOVING EACH OTHER.
Pat & Carole
