Hurricane Hole

Arrived late afternoon at Naqaiqai. It is a long narrow inlet with palm trees either side and mangroves at the end. Just at the entrance, was a small sandy beach with a hardwood chair, parasol and a hammock, quite incongruous as there was no sign of house or hotel nearby. The small fishing camp further down the inlet was a basic all male enclave and did not look like possible owners. It was very calm with only a gentle breeze so we anchored near the entrance to gain some benefit from it (can get very hot amongst mangroves and also risk of mozzies) Nice swim water was warmer than Viani but similarly cloudy, to be expected as we were anchored in thick mud.
