Chris has been discussing medical matters and the NHS with a retired vet from UK who runs a veterinary charity here. He also hands out medical advice and was a bit concerned about a couple of people so asked Chris to have a look. Chris borrowed his auroscope and I think quite enjoyed his 'surgery', especially as he was able to advise treatment and reassure that there was nothing to worry about.
At low tide weekends you can watch families gathering shellfish out on the reef, small bamboo rafts also go out over the reef but do not seem to keep the paddler out of the water very well, perhaps that is why they are mostly standing.
I gave up on repairs to Chris's computer and with great trepidation did a factory reset, it worked! So he now has faster running and internet(no more tantrums I hope). We went for a meal this evening (with Sue and Kirk) in a local Indian restaurant for 6$fj each. Chris was a bit disappointed I think that they did not serve beer, although slightly mollified when he found he could have coke. The rest of us had jug of water which I thought went down well with the curry (better than coke anyway). Followed up with some home made ice cream from Surf an' Turf and then taxi back to boat as we will be off to sea early tomorrow.
