Picture is the shore of Lake Erie as seen from our flight home.
Trucking the boat was delayed due to an injured driver. The new pickup date is Wednesday next week. We have flown home to Grand Bend. There is a huge pile of mail and our old lives to rejoin. The boat should be back to Bayfield next Friday or the Monday after.
Thanks for warming up the weather for our return.

Picture is Event Horizon II without her mast, and the arch stripped for shipping. The arch will fold down just before loading
After 3 days work we are ready for a truck to take the boat back to Bayfield. The first possible date is April 15. We will fly home the day after to be ready to receive the boat. Please arrange for warm sunny weather for our return.

It's very exciting to hear you'll be home soon! I just checked the weather, and Guelph is supposed to be 17 and sunny this Wednesday - warmest weather we've had yet!

We are glad you came through all your adventures safely. We will miss following your journey. The North Channel may seem tame by comparison, but we look forward to seeing you there in the future.

I put your order in, but Mother Nature only delivered on 'warm.' Hope you didn't put your rain gear where you can't find it. :-)
