Waiting for a Truck
Peter - Sunny Warm
2008/04/11, Daytona Beach, Florida, USA

Picture is Event Horizon II without her mast, and the arch stripped for shipping. The arch will fold down just before loading

After 3 days work we are ready for a truck to take the boat back to Bayfield. The first possible date is April 15. We will fly home the day after to be ready to receive the boat. Please arrange for warm sunny weather for our return.

It's very exciting to hear you'll be home soon! I just checked the weather, and Guelph is supposed to be 17 and sunny this Wednesday - warmest weather we've had yet!

We are glad you came through all your adventures safely. We will miss following your journey. The North Channel may seem tame by comparison, but we look forward to seeing you there in the future.

I put your order in, but Mother Nature only delivered on 'warm.' Hope you didn't put your rain gear where you can't find it. :-)

Good to see you're both back safe and sound and will be home very soon.

We continue to travel north. Almost at the end of our water travels on this trip.

Vertically Challenged
Peter - Sunny Warm, Windy - Rain in the afternoon
2008/04/05, Titusville, ICW, Florida, USA

Picture is of an unfortunate boat that needed a bit more bridge clearance.

We are 32 nautical miles south of Daytona Beach. There we will prepare Event Horizon II for trucking back to Bayfield Ontario. She will continue her travels on Lake Huron.
