Bora Bora to Aitutaki

Well we have just arrived in Aitutaki in the Cook Islands. We have come from Bora Bora where we had a pleasant few days and after saying goodbye to Pau and Marc (the guys from the Arc boat Beatoo, they came aboard with us for a few days) we headed off into the wind. It was a pretty average crossing from Bora Bora . We had 25-30 knots of wind coming from 90 degrees the whole time and had two reefs in the main as well as 5 or 6 wraps on the jib the whole time. We had swells coming from side on so needless to say it was fairly unpleasant. The passage into Aitutaki was also pretty difficult looking but after talking to one of the boats in the harbor here on the VHF and getting some instructions we were able to navigate it fairly easily. We are going to stay here one night and then we will be continuing on to Niue Island.
