Sunset last night in Tyrell Bay Carriacou -- almost a green flash.
Slight change in plans and we're still in Grenada -- but not Prickly Bay. Dropped the mooring ball off Grand Mal at 4 am yesterday morning and headed toward Martinique. The winds built to around 18-24 knots and the seas were around a meter to a meter and a half. Of course, the wind and the waves were almost on the nose. We beat along at around 5 knots motor sailing. The trip was going well, but my crew was sea-sick and wasn't getting any better. Finally around noon after around 45 miles, I suggested we call it a day and head into Carriacou. Dropped the anchor around one.
The new plan is to head over to Union Island tomorrow and check into St Vincent and the Grenadines. After that, we'll see.
Here's a shot of one of my favorite signs at the IGA grocery store in Grande Anse Grenada. Enjoy your Sunday!
