Actually, thanks to Carol and Richard on 'The Great Catsby', we didn't squeeze anywhere - we sailed up the narrow inlet to Sunset Lake and anchored for the night, lovely. The next day we did squeeze into a slip at the South Jersey Marina. Ken had discovered an oil leak in the starboard engine during a routine check that needed a closer look. He ordered the seal and gasket on Monday, along with Chinese take-out that delivers to the dock, and the parts arrived the next day. We had plenty of time to make friends with Torie, the new owner of the onsite restaurant - Wallace's - because the oil seal went off without a hitch (pays to have your own ABYC certified tech as captain) but the weather went down hill in spades!!! Gale winds and heavy rain, whew. We tried leaving Sunday, there are just so many long walks you can take in that part of Cape May, even Buoy was tired of the site of all that concrete after awhile, but we faced 30 k winds and standing waves so we turned around and went back to SJM for another night.
