We left Little Harbour about 8:30AM and headed north up through the Sea of Abaco to Marsh Harbour. The Sea of Abaco is a big protected bay basically. It's a good thing as the wind was blowing hard, about 25 kts, out of the southeast. It would have been a rough ride outside but we were flying along about 8 kts and not doing much rocking or rolling at all due to the barrier of outer islands protecting the bay.
We pulled into Marsh Harbour around noon and anchored off of the main town. The harbor here is pretty good size. About twenty other boats were anchored around us with room for many more. There are several marinas here as well.
We were here for a couple days because Monday was very rainy which was great for Faring because she really needed a bath! Tuesday we took the dinghy to the Union Jack dinghy dock and walked up to the Price Right grocery store. It was larger than most and very well stocked and had very reasonable prices!
Once provisioned we set off for Hope Town, Elbow Cay on Wednesday.
