Kevin
Hello All again, Closing on day 8 with no wind at the start and a couple of rain squalls over head pushing us along at 7 knts to nothing again in 30 mins then glassy seas. Now at 0300 hrs in the morning our time idling to charge the batteries and in gear. With only 30 nm to the half way mark across where 1100 nm from nowhere or is it somewhere and beating to windward most of the way. Tail winds from the East are coming up to meet us from the South, should you insisted on all the paper towelsbe here in the early morning. Marv found out why you insisted on all the paper towels when we went on the Port tack i should have been more attentive when you were taling about the marine heads. Changed the alternator this morning after blowing the regulator out on the existing one. Bit of a worry for a while not being able to charge batteries but problem fixed. Weather getting more mild and a lot warmer with a beautiful sunset last night. 1140 nm to go to Honolulu hopefully not beating to windward. Cheers for now Kevin, Rick and Helen. ps Photos when we get to Honolulu. Please pass this blog site to anyone interested.
