We had a great time in Charleston, but it's time to move on. We are inside going towards Beaufort (pronounced Bewfort), SC. The ICW in SC is fairly easy to deal with, and lots of anchoring places, but we had the tide with us most of the trip so we made it to Beaufort in one day...8:00 AM to 5:00 PM exactly.
We're travelling with Veranda. Christy and Bill...neat people. Bill writes their blog (a link is on the side) and he is a fantastic writer. I won't even try to match his musings...plus he knows what he's doing on the water.
We had a great pork chop dinner last night with friends of Veranda's, Steve and Gloria. They manage the Lady's Island Marina here. Way too much fun!
Now we wait on weather.
