We have been in Hilton Head now since Tuesday Nov. 3 afternoon and enjoying the area. We are tied up at the Palmetto Bay Marina. We caught up on our laundry and provisioning. The weather has been very humid, rainy and lots of fog. We haven't seen sun now for a week. We took a nice bike ride around the island and did a little shopping. We also played two rounds of golf, 9 holes each round. We played best ball and scored 52 and 47, we need to practice. We cleaned up the boat and topped the water tanks. We rented a car and left very early, 5A, to travel up to Ridge for the next week. Our next destination a week from now will be St. Augustine, FL. We plan to do this leg on the outside. It's about 146 miles (24 hours straight). This way we will avoid all the GA zig zag in the ICW. We met a nice couple from Canada ( Brian and Nancy). They are thinking of going to Cuba. I understand now that Americans can go there for up to 1 month with pre-approval. The Canadians can stay there up to 3 Months. I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving.
