Georgia....... Georgia......sweet Georgia is on my mind....... as the song goes. We departed Hilton Head at sunrise, 07:00, which is a good accomplishment for us. The peel and were out with the porpoise's and wind was 10 from the east. Since weather was suppose to turn bad and seas would build to 7- 11 feet we decided to continue down the ICW instead of sailing on the outside. The clouds were stratus, featureless gray skies and nimbostratus, dark gray with rain. Winds varied from 10- 22 mph. Finisterre did great navigating its ways along the snaky ICW in Ga. We made it to Wahoo River and anchored for the night about 5P, a lonely boat on a remote creek with rain pelting us from the north east. We listened to a lot of the terrorist issues in France via NPR. We got some text messages from friends in Paris and everyone we knew was safe. We didn't spot any signs of ISIS on the ICW....... Tomorrow we head from Jeckle Island, it's about 60 miles south from where we are tonight. We will be passing Brunswick and St. Simons which is Gens old stopping grounds. I hope you like the picture of the day. We hope to be in Coco Beach for Thanksgiving.
