Clear, wiinds 7-17 from SSW
Had a nice breakfast in Newport. Departed from our Old Port Marina mooring. Topped off water and fuel. I found out you are not allowed to pump fuel into a 5 gal jug on the dock. We departed Newport with a cruise around the harbor. Winds were light on the head from the SW. Winds picked up around Block island and Montauk point to about 17 knots on the head. The seas were on 1-2 feet. As night approached the winds dropped and we headed out into the mighty Atlantic.
