Cloudy and windy from NE some gusts above 30k

We decided to leave Jekle Is early to stay ahead of the bad weather that was been predicted, including gale force winds and rain. We stayed ahead of it and made good time to JACKSONVILLE. We were able get a slip at Beach Marine. The seas on the outside are 11 feet. The wind is at 20K with gust above 30K. I was nice to make it to Jacksonville and tied up in the slip. We will ride out the weather and target to continue on on Sunday. We walked around JACKSONVILLE Beach. We went to Saturday night mass and eat at a nice burger place. A cross from the Marina was a great little seafood restaurant. We talked to elder lady that was on a sailboat next to us 'Island Lady'. We departed JACKSONVILLE at 8A on Sunday to head to St Augustine. The wind had dropped dramatically.
