It has been really hot as the wind died down to nothing. Stew and our Dominican neighbor tried to change out the VHF antenna, but it was so corroded they couldn’t get it off. Stew cleaned the bottom of the boat, checked and adjusted our steering linkage which of course means emptying the sail locker. While he was at it he added water to our 7 batteries (2 starter and a bank of 5).
I started cleaning and stowing stuff; making lists of needed supplies etc.
We even extended our pizza day with Nidia and Victor to include Thanksgiving! In celebration of the holiday we also ordered a large order of wings. Another nontraditional holiday to remember
