Simon, Noelia and Max arrived at the boat on the 12th. They have been settling in and we have been doing the final jobs before heading down to the Cape Verde islands. Most of the jobs being done are aimed at improving the safety above and below decks for 2 YO Max. We will also take advantage of the great supermarkets here in Lanzarote to top up our provisions.

We are following with great interest the progress of Alex Thomson in the Vendee Globe race. He is currently in the lead and passed to the west of the Canary islands a day and a half ago. He seems to have superior boat speed, so we just hope he can keep it all together.
