Sojourn in Samos
18 June 2012 | Posidonian Bay,Samos Island
Leaving Kusadasi the weather forecast was for stronger winds coming straight from the direction we were heading and even though it was early morning the sea was sloppy as well. So a decision was made to head to the nearby Greek island of Samos- 15nm trip . We anchored in a beautiful bay with clear waters, a pretty little village and good protection from strong winds.
We spent two nights here and enjoyed a walk around the village and up to the a small church perched on top of a hill, overlooking the bay. For a bit of fun, Bern decided to prove that his passarelle creation was not only bouyant but could also double as a surfbooard!
