More fruit & vegetables

The last few days have been spent in Esema Bay in HH. It is our favourite anchorage so far. As well as being a safe & calm mooring in most weathers, the locals are amazingly friendly and willing to trade their fresh fruit & vegetables picked directly from their gardens. As well, we were able to order a loaf of bread, which is baked by one of the local villagers and dropped off to our boat the following morning as they canoe over to their gardens to work for the day. Claire came down with a 'tummy bug', so we have spent an extra day here while she recuperates...hopefully it won't spread to the rest of the crew! Tonight we will sail overnight to SW Bay on Malakula Island 80nm to the north. We plan to arrive mid morning. There is a three day festival put on by the local villages which started today, and visiting yachts are most welcome to join the celebrations. In fact, they provide the major part of the revenue to the villagers. So we hope to see some traditional dancing etc.
