Char and I took First Step out Saturday morning for a day run. The wind was non-existent to start, but once we got over to the Soggy Peso, it started blowing about 15 steady from the north. We set the hook for a boat drink or two and decided to boogie back to San Carlos. The downwind run back was spectacular!! Some 4' rollers following us back had the First Step surfing along like a pro at sometimes over 6KN.

We had a great and successful sailing day and finished it up with a few beverages and some coconut and jerk shrimp over at Hammerheads.

With a light buzz and a sunburn, we retired for the night. February in the Sea of Cortez could not be better.

Now back to Tucson to make more pesos for our return in a couple weeks.
