A great last snorkel

Ralph
We decided to stay one more morning and go snorkeling one last time. We has scoped out another section of the reef that looked good, so we thought we should check it out. It turned out to be a good move. It was probably the best that we have seen. There would be a large section of coral heads and then there would be a channel of deeper water followed again by another large section of coral. It was kind of like a city with blocks of houses separated by streets. Tom and Liz from Feel Free joined us and there were very impressed as well. We saw a LOT of fish. Large schools of snappers and other assorted species would go swimming by. We also saw a very large turtle sitting on the bottom. Our spotter (Karen) also found us a number of lobsters, which we did not shoot, but also found a large male crab that Tom was successful at getting. It was a good way to end our visit to Kuna Land. We left in the afternoon to sail to Chichime to get staged for the 40 mile sail over to Isla Grande. We plan on spending a couple of nights there before heading over to Panamarina on Monday.
