Back out on the big blue sea.

Ralph
We are back out on the water after having the hook down for almost 1 month - Which is a record for us. The month flew by. Kokopelli talked to Chris Parker this morning and the forecast was not as good as we hoped. The first 30 hours should be good, but the last stretch into Colon, we could see winds on the nose, with the seas starting to build. He also forecasted squalls, but I think that is something that is just part of life down here and hopefully they are short lived if you do encounter one. The wind on the nose could be a big problem depending on how hard it is blowing. We are trying to get as far east while the wind allows us so that as it does switch to the south, we should be able to adjust.

Its 4:00pm and we have been traveling since 9:00am this morning and we still have the engines running. We are trying to go as far and fast as we can - coming into Panama at night should not be a problem. We expect it to be lit up like a christmas tree. It was very calm out here this morning, but the winds have picked up and so have the waves, so I better stop before I make myself sick!
