We picked up an anchor and sailed from Nargana to the small village by Porvineer. It was ideal conditions - probably our best sail of the year. Flat seas with the wind on the beam and the boat was moving along at 6.5 - 8kts. When conditions are like that sailing is very relaxing. We saw a small pod of dolphins that swam with us for a bit, which is always good luck for us. We anchored in a new spot here that is SO much better than the previous places we have dropped the hook here. Thanks to Better days for the tip! When we got here, 3 cute Kuna girls came out to sell us these hand painted gourdes that they make into bowls. They were real nice, but we are running short of cash, so have to limit our spending to "necessities". We did not even ask how much they were as we did not want them to think we were interested and disappoint them.
The weather seems to be improving with the trade winds filling in and being more predicable and fewer and fewer squalls going through. There was NO rain last night so Karen did not have to the hatch shuffle. Open the hatch, close the hatch, open the hatch, close the hatch, open the hatch.............
