As I write we're in balmy and perfect winds, headed north from Tenacatita Bay, bound for La Cruz, depending on the winds and weather. Joining us are Mark, Allan's brother, and his wife Pam, who weathered a lumpy, rolly overnight 20 hour ride down the coast a few days ago with great aplomb, and who are now willing to have a go at a lumpy ride back.
Tsunami-Free Zone

Seems that tsunami warning of last Saturday got everyone back home a bit more riled up than it did us. After investigating the situation on weather websites and hearing from a few local weather specialists, we wrote off the danger, strapped on harnesses, and went zip-lining. How utterly selfish ... (Continued...)

Rain Day

It's raining in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, a steady rain in warm, slightly humid air. Our boat has to be completely closed up in the rain, every porthole and hatch leaks if cracked even a fraction of an inch. So we're holed up inside, having canceled our bus ride to Marina Vallarta for the Wednesday seminar and the Mega grocery store in favor of a rain day, a chance to quietly organize our thoughts and finish taxes and so forth while Beethoven's Symphony #7, Op 92 in A Major wafts about the steamy interior of the cabin. (Continued...)
