We had a good time in Charleston. Went through the Naval yards and toured an aircraft carrier, a submarine, and a desrtoyer.....really interesting. We;re anchored in Georgia, in a state park, but only 1 mile from Florida. We left Charleston yesterday about 7AM. Sailed all through the night and got in here about 10AM. As per our usual luck running outside, the wind switched and made for confused seas. THe ride was not plesant! To make matters worse, the auto pilot died, so we had to hand stear for the entire leg. We're both exhausted. This afternoon I took auto apart and found a broked part. I thought it was agonner, but while laying in bed I got an idea on how to make the part. I got up and gave it a try, and it works!!!! We have no plans on tomorrow yet, but I see nothing to do here, but haven't talked to the admirel yet....lol......TTFN
