We got into Waterford on Saturday around 2PM. It was hot and humid, but we needed to gat laundry done so we walked into town to find a laundromat. While the clothes were washing, we went to an airconditioned bar and had a couple cold ones. When we got back to the boat we saw a bicycle rider come in and started talking. We had biked from Cleveland to the end of the Erie and was heading for the coast. We chatted a bit and then went to bed. Sunday rained in the morning, but cleared up around 3PM. Bob (the cyclist) had met a couple other locals and they invited us for cocktails at the local Irish Pub.....We met there at 6PM and to make a long story short, stayed waaaaaaay to long. Not that we hadn't had enough, we invited them all to the boat for a nite cap......that lasted into the wee hours, We all had a GREAT TIME and really enjoyed their company. Monday morning came way to early, but we had to get going. We left Waterford and traveled down The Hudson until neither Vicki or I could stay awake any longer. We pulled off into a creek feeding into the Hudson, dropped the anchor and went to bed early. THis morning we left there around 6AM and got into Catskill about 9AM. THe people at Hop-O Nose Marina were there waiting for us, so we got right to the business of putting the stick back on the boat. The process went well. After the mast was stepped, we rigged the boat and got the sails on. All is done except tomorrow I need to reconnect all the wiring through the mast. It's been a long day so....TTFN
