This is the first time my mother has ever sailed. She had a great time. After we got back to the dock we realized we were sunburned. Next time we will remember sun screen.

S"mores made a great dessert to end the day. Microwavable!

While we were shopping for some steaks to grill we spotted some snow crab legs that would make a tasty treat. We had fun trying to pick out what little bit of crab meat we could out of the shell. Not much!

We had an opportunity to take my mother to the boat. We took the ferry over to the wharf. We checked out the World War II sub at the wharf. It was a surprise to us to find out how many US subs were lost in the war. Not too good of odds for those serving on a submarine

Spent today cleaning the deck of the boat. The blue stripe on the side of the boat was looking quite oxidized. I bought a can of Buff Magic and pro polish to see if it would work. Now I will have to do the whole boat. Good stuff.
Called my parents after cleaning the boat and received some bad news that my father of almost 94 years of age had a massive stroke. Sunday about 1:00 PM we headed back to Idaho Falls. We got back to Idaho Falls about 3:00 AM Monday morning. My good father passed away at 8:45 AM on the 11th of March. What a great man he was. He raised a wonderful family. Love you Dad.

Merry Christmas
We are spending Christmas this year with family at our home in Idaho. We received a good dusting of snow the day before Christmas making it more special. What a blessing to have all five of our children home with our grandchildren. Must go now we are opening presents.
