Blackpoint
07 January 2012
We are now in one of our favorite spots in the Bahamas, Blackpoint. It is a small community that is very cruiser-friendly. Lorraine's Cafe is the heart of the community, a great cruiser hangout with free internet (not usual here) and good local food. Lorraine's mom makes the best ever coconut bread.
There is a new, nice laundermat. Ida runs it and also sells carrot cake to enjoy while you wait. Yesterday we were able to buy 2 LARGE lobster tails from a local fisherman. It was delicious grilled and plenty of meat leftover for lobster salad.
