Arrive in Green Cove Springs

30 October 2013 | Green Cove Springs, Fl
Left home on Sunday, October 26 in a rented Toyota RAV4 filled with clothes, boat parts and equipment, wine, specialty food items and varnished drawers and cabinet drawers. Fran has her work laptop, air card and Blackberry in order to work part time for the next month. We were lucky to have clear dry weather the whole way.

Three nights later (Amarillo, Shreveport, and Foley AL) we arrive in Green Cove Springs on Wednesday afternoon and re-unite with our sailboat Sirius. Her new bottom paint and cove stripe look great and inside she has been wiped down for mildew but her top sides are quite dirty. We will need to spend some time cleaning and organizing before we can take things from our storage locker and store them aboard.

We did get the boxes from the car stowed aboard. Had a nice quick dinner in St. Augustine where we are staying for a couple of nights. Made a late stop at Home Depot for supplies. And the adventure begins.
