Scarlett Ibis returning Home to Roost

We have worked for 10 days now with a break trip to the Asa Wright Bird Sanctuary and Caroni Swamp over the weekend. This is a must for all birders and even novices like us. Highlights were at least five different species hummingbirds and the Scarlet Ibis coming back for the night to roost in the swamp. It was much more extraordinary than we expected. Back to work on Monday and we are in the water today. No drama. She is floating and the best thing is that the Air conditioning and the freezer are working. A few more days and we should be ready to take off. While here we'll go to the local "Pan Yards" and listen to the famous steel drum music as the groups ready themselves for Carnival in March.
