Looking across to the Solent and the mainland. At least we don't have to go tropical to see a pretty sunset!!!

Mind you, one does need a chart for Newtown, it is deceptive when the tide goes out, also those little green or red buoys do actually mean something.............. how not to do it!!!! (I hasten to add this is Not us!)...

The light during the evening was lovely and the weather was very peaceful after all the rough stuff we have been having.....

We caught a break, managed to get out and up to Newtown Creek for what turned out to be summer!............ we could only do the one overnight but the bikini got aired for at least a couple of hours..... we enjoyed a beautiful sunset, and I have taken some photos which follow. They are all taken looking out to Newtown, and Shalfleet the village across the meadows. It is such a pretty place.
