We left Keppel Bay Marina at around 9am after a long conversation with a few beers and a 17 year old Bowmore the night before... and cleared out at Sisters Island without problems. There's a huge amount of shipping around and the AIS picture on the chart plotter is quite interesting!

Ivan and Geo spent the morning repairing the spinnaker and restitching the UV protection on the genoa - all good to go now.

We noticed that we had a problem with the scan strut mount for the radar which, instead of swinging freely as the boat heels, was rubbing against the mast. Ivan - see picture - shimmied up the mast to take a look and try to fix it but it seems there is a bent screw which is not possible to fix at sea. So he has taped in some cork to prevent it rubbing further and we will probably have to wait to Phuket to get it fixed.

OK so I will now try and post this via satellite phone - let's hope it works!

Extra: "Fujin" is the Japanese God of Wind. The name is composed of two Chinese characters - "Fu" meaning wind and "Jin" meaning god. If you swap the order of the characters, you don't pronouce it "jinfu" - instead it is pronouced "kamikaze" or divine wind....
