On this website of Gabriella Voyage of Faith you are able to enter into some of our past sailing experiences with the many ports, people, sailing partners, bask in good sunny weather which often changes into challenging environment conditions. All of which I consider a wonderful experience of true life from the beginning to the end into where I stand now.
{ Scrolling down on the right is contents which will bring you to dated sail legs over the past few years.}
I Gail Gordon sailed with my husband Ted and our son Trevor departing Islamorada Florida July 1, 2006. We returned to South Florida Sept 5, 2008. Our sailing vessel was Gabriella a 47 foot catamaran which we sailed departing home port of Islamorda, Florida USA into Mexico, Belize, Guatemala up the Rio Dulce River, continuing into Honduras, down to Panama exploring the San Blas Islands crossing through the historical Panama Canal to see the Los Perlas Islands. Our journey furthered to the Galapagos, crossing into the South Pacific Ocean arriving Hiva Oa in the Marquesas after 21 days my first sight of land was tall palm trees bringing tears from the beauty of a waving welcome. Next was over into Archipel Des Tuamotu enjoying diving with dolphins on Easter Sunday touching one in the wild 100 feet below the ocean surface. Our next port was French Polynesia home to Tahiti, Moorea,Bora Bora,and Raiatea, sailing on into the english speaking country of the Cook Islands and my favorite the smallest island country of Nuie meaning coconut. We visited The Kingdom of Tonga, making way and exploring the islands of Fiji where we sold Gabriella and continued to delivery her back to California. You need to be flexible while sailing as we were unable to make land in Samoa due to unfavorable wind direction and severely high winds plus humongous seas. We did how ever touch the untouchable paradise of Gardner Island briefly which is in the Line Islands a small speck in a very large ocean rarely touched by the human hand surrounded by a reef of sharks and beauty. What a delight! We all were gratefully to make port in Kauai Hawaii after 3 weeks of the most intense sailing I have experienced, leaving the final leg into California my husband Ted accompanied by my brave son Trevor, my good friend Janet a real trooper with the courageous new owner Todd minus his wife Renee as Renee and I took the opportunity to fly back to the states.
What a time of adventure filled with life. As this fabulous journey with friends came to a close I can hear my closest traveling companion my Lord and shepard say I love you unconditional forever.

Hello everyone,
Today in sunny south Florida the sky is grey and the air is cold, warm compared to the rest of the country, freezing non the less to I.
Where will the New Year lead us?
Ted and I have started building our family future home in the Bahamas on the island of Eleuthra and are forming the foundation of Blue Water Surrender our next proposed sailing adventure to pour into youth and others love which comes from above living in a life of adventure and purpose through sailing and serving others. Trevor will be off to college next year and has applied to the Maine Maritime Academy specializing in the marine shipping industry.
It has been a long hard year for many and we have not been excluded. I am walking in hope and faith, preserving the many storms that blow through my mind. Sometimes I want to give up, always the glimmer of light appears in the nick of time to propel me forwards another step.
I pray for your New Year that it will be one full of life as you continue to choose each step that you take. I have discovered I am not in control but I have the blessing of choice every moment with every breath I take.
