This has been our final preparations for going through the canal this week. Food stocked up . Fuel topped off along with the water.

We are still busy working aboard preparing for the canal transit. I have been cooking to fill the freezor as Ted, Trevor and Shane are cleaning lockers and doing repairs. Today we met John and Sandy on the Marina bus on the way back from town. They will be line handlers for us through the canal, their boat is in a slip close to us and are looking foward to the journey through the canal, a first for all of us. Mary and John will join us in Los Perlas Panama for the crossing to the Galopogos, where Jeff and Christi will meet us for a week, hopefully we will see penguins! Pancho is not able to join us, so for the long crossing it will be Ted, Trevor, Gail and Shane. We are a bonded team and function well together with much harmony and fun. We have formed competitive cooking teams to see who can out due the next to keep life interesting.
