Well we are still working on checking in we are part way there. Monday we have an appointment with the health officer and one more trip to customs. We are allowed to be ashore so we have been going about our business. The people of Fiji are so warm and friendly I really like it here even in the busy city. Photo is a flash back to Tonga checking out.

Gabriella arrived Suva after a beautiful star filled night 23 hours ago crossing into the eastern hemisphere! We are still in the Harbor waiting on customs to clear . What is interesting is now today is a holiday. We did recieve permission to go ashore last night for 1 hour for dinner. Taking the dingy into the Suva Yacht Club we had the most interesting dinner. Being out of steak Ted changed to chicken. My stir fry arrived and I found it different with cucumbers and 40 minutes later a man approaches our table " We are out of steak but if you wait 10 more minutes I will go to town and get some fresh steaks" Well naturally we said no thank you we ordered chicken a while ago. So this was our first experiences of Fiji. I do like it here the people have been very friendly and as soon as we get checked in I am sure there is plently more to discover.
