Today we synchronize with Honolulu and repeat Aug. 5 good bye to Fiji time. Renee has been on the phone searching for a marina with an available slip.So far one possibility at the end of the run way is a maybe and we will take it if its not moving! Gabriella has been like a prancing horse eager to reach the barn turning into a herd of elephants with the sounds of stomping and kicking all the way and it feels like I am riding a twinkle toed dancer in the elephant march blowing drunken horns having a real party! Winning the lottery of sailing I found a clean towel and 20 packs of Raman noodles so we are in fat city. About my bunk I haven't visited for 20 nights, my cozy cubby turned into a dark dungeon since the hatches have been closed all but a few hours one day so long ago when the sea was calm. The main salon has been my home and I have surrendered to the battle of the black mold. Sailing off shore is not for everyone as you can see it is barrels of fun. The galley underway is like cooking in a hammock with five children trying to knock you out . I am on day three of cooking these hard bullets called beans from lousy lentils to bad beans I am ready to throw the whole pot into the ocean and feed the fish! There is much to be grateful for and that is where to keep your mind as your reality may push you over the edge but not today . It is one day at a time and God is giving me the strength to persevere. I wish my mom could come and pick me up but not today. God is always available and God I do trust.
